Samsung officially launched the Galaxy S20 and Z Flip alongside their new brand ambassadors: fashion photographer, BJ Pascual and wedding videographer, Jason Magbanua. 2018 Miss Universe, Catriona Gray also returns to the stage as the ambassador of the Galaxy Z Flip.
Guests were wowed with the photos and videos captured by both BJ and Jason and were even more stunned to know that it was all just shot on the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
With the Galaxy S20 Ultra’s Ultra-Resolution Quad Camera, which includes a 108MP Wide Angle, 48MP Telephoto, 12MP Ultra-Wide, and Depth Vision lenses, photos come with stunning clarity and detail.
“I have compared photos taken using the 108MP lens and my professional gear, and the ones shot with my smartphone can match with the best of them,” he says, having the audience guess which of two photos were shot with the S20 Ultra and which was shot with his professional lens.
Safe to say, only he knew which one it was. One could hardly tell the difference.
Pascual also shares how he enjoys the other features of the device’s cameras. Space Zoom allows him to hone in on subjects up to 100 times while Bright Night lets him shoot even in low light conditions without sacrificing sharpness and color accuracy of his photos.

Another feature that Magbanua uses is the 8K Video Snap, which grabs photos from recorded footage. Each screenshot maintains its crisp resolution, perfect for snapping picturesque stills from the video.
