Do you reach for your smartphone the first thing in the morning? And do you check Twitter first thing, too? Well, you’ll now be less blinded by the smartphone glare if you use an Android device. The social network just updated its Android app to introduce a Night Mode feature.
It’s pretty simple to activate it. Just swipe left to bring out the slide-out menu and you’ll see a toggle there to turn Night Mode on and off. No, it doesn’t work like f.lux where the screen matches your indoor lighting or how it changes at specific times of the day. You’ll have to do the work yourself.
We just got the update on some of our devices so it should roll out to yours already. No news yet though if iOS users will get the same feature, though. We’ll let you know if we hear more.
