5 Food Delivery Apps to satisfy your cravings

It’s been 64 days since the lockdown in the Philippines was implemented and Filipinos were asked to stay home. Since then, everyone has been discovering a new passion or something that interests them—exercising, planting, reading books, gaming, and even cooking. You can see most of this as most people post on social media what keeps them busy.

What are the odds that these people were well stocked with their favorite food right before the lockdown was implemented? Well, some who’d rather stay home than line up in a grocery bought online and had it delivered to their homes.

There are a lot of apps that can help you satisfy your needs. Luckily, you can finally download these apps from Huawei’s AppGallery. Here they are in no particular order:

LazMart

If you’re looking to doing grocery but would prefer to stay, LazMart can help you do that job. It also offers variety of essentials such as personal and baby care, pet care essentials. And to make shopping more convenient, Lazmart gives you freedom to sort categories based on brand, pack size, dietary needs, freshness guarantee, country of origin and more!

All you need to do is select a restaurant and book your preferred date and time. You’ll also have to indicate the number of diners in the booking (ex. 1 person = can order up to 2 dishes). Pick up your order from the restaurant (15-minute grace period) for the discount to be valid. To observe social distancing, they highly encourage that only one person goes to the restaurant. To pay, you need to show your Eatigo reservation, place your order and settle your bill while waiting for your takeaway meal at the restaurant. This feature is available in Manila, Cebu and Davao

MetroMart

MetroMart is an on-demand grocery and store delivery service. They service areas in Metro Manila. So if you need someone to do your groceries, they have friendly runners who are on standby to pick up and deliver your items from your favorite supermarkets like Robinsons, S&R and Family Mart. They can also pick up pet food, electronics, cosmetics, medicine and the like.

Booky

Booky is also one of the leading lifestyle apps in the Philippines. It helps you find the best restaurants that are open for takeout and delivery, restaurants that just reopened, where to shop for groceries online, and more.
