Be adventure-ready with the Yamaha TFX 150

The new Yamaha TFX 150 is all set for your next jaunt in the city. This new motorbike features more traction and a new riding position. Instead of being crouched down, you maintain an upright riding position on the TFX 150 to help you keep an active stance on the road. It also makes it easier to control an already agile machine.

Known as the M-Slaz in Thailand, the TFX 150 marries unadulterated torque and good looks. Yamaha hopes to match the expectations set by its successful launch in Thailand. It comes with a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC 4-valve engine, maximum horsepower 12.0KW @ 8,500rpm, maximum torque 14.3Nm @ 7,500rpm, hydraulic single disk brake, and 37mm upside down telescopic front suspension and linked-type monocross rear suspension.

Yamaha launched the TFX 150 at the SM Mall of Asia’s Music Hall during the two-day 2016 Yamaha Motorshow: Rev Hall – Xpressions of Xcellence event. The Rev Hall, which happened on September 24-25, played host to other Yamaha products that both fans and curious bystanders got to see.

Across the Rev Hall was the ultimate playground for the TFX 150. First, there was a stunt show where the TayTay stunt riders took it to the extreme with different tricks that wowed the crowd. A Moto Gymkhana Competition was also held to test the skill of different riders and to make them personally feel what the brand new release of Yamaha can offer. The results were:

Enthusiasts also had their turn at the motorcycle with a free test ride on the specially-designed track that highlights the aggressive performance of the new unit.

The event was opened by the 2016 World Hip-Hop Dance Champions Upeepz with a performance that showed why they were awarded as best in the world. Guests were taken through the Rev Hall by pound-for-pound host, Rico Robles, who got everyone involved in the action.

The Yamaha TFX 150 is now available in the Philippines. It comes in Silver and Matte Yellowish Gray colors for P139,000.
