Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. has been revving through campuses in the Philippines and visits rival Alma Maters, University of St. LaSalle Bacolod and Ateneo De Zamboanga University.
Veering away from the usual rivalry that connects these two schools, the Mio Ride your Story campaign introduces the Mio Sporty, Mio i 125, Mio Soul i 125, and Mio 125 Mxi to students. More than just modes of transportation, each motorcycle is representation of passion that allows an individual to breakthrough by using their own unique characteristics. One of the activities in the tour is the Yamaha Talk; a segment that tackles the different challenges a student faces during school and how to overcome them.
The discussions were led by breakthrough artists who shared their own experiences during their school days. Spoken Word Artist Mai Mai Cantillano, Music Extraordinaire DJ Nina, and Singing Sensation Tj Monterde; showcased more than their talent but also their adventures.
Of course, learning about the basics of motorcycle riding and safety on the road is a must, which is where the Yamaha Safe Riding Science program comes in. It is an opportunity for students to be taught in an environment that is supervised by Certified Yamaha Instructors.
Yamaha continues the Mio Campus Tour at Mindanao State University – General Santos City, Laguna State Polytechnic University, De La Salle University – Dasmarinas, and Angeles University.
After starting off in SM City Pampanga, the Mio Mall Tour continued in SM City Dasma, SM City Sta. Rosa, and SM City Bacolod. The trio of events presented an opportunity for different regions to enjoy and know more about the Mio Motorcycles. Different booth activities were an avenue to explore what Ride your Story is all about and there was no shortage of fun with games such as the Rev Claw and the presence of Revvy Bear.
