We’ve talked about Xiaomi’s latest device when it first launched in India a few months back. And we were teased just a few days ago of its impending arrival. Finally, the Xiaomi Mi 4i gets a local debut and will be coming out later this month for P9,799.
As a refresher for the specs, it features a 5-inch Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, a second generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core chip with Adreno 406 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, and Android Lollipop 5.0 with MIUI 6 running on top.

It also has a 13-megapixel rear camera that makes use of Sony/Samsung sensors with f/2.0 lens and dual-tone flash. You also get a 5-megapixel front camera with f/1.8 lens. It is also an LTE-capable dual SIM device with 3,120mAh battery.
The phone will be available off-contract on Lazada starting July 29th. And it will be exclusively carried by Smart and offered through its Surf Plus Plans. Offline retailers and Smart stores will start carrying the device by August 1st. The non-telco retailers will be selling the Mi 4i with a free Smart prepaid SIM.
