United Airlines Inaugural Flight in the PH

United Airlines’ first direct flight from San Francisco to Manila UA191 is given a warm welcome with a water cannon salute as it landed at the NAIA Terminal 3. The aircraft, carrying 325 passengers, arrived more than an hour ahead of schedule at 5:20 AM. 

United Airlines (UAL) today begin its new nonstop service between Manila and San Francisco – the airlines’ first trans-Pacific service between the Philippines and the continental U.S.
