Unboxing the flagship Xiaomi Mi 11

Xiaomi has finally launched their latest flagship phone — the Mi 11, expected to be both power-packed and price-affordable. The new Mi 11 features a 120Hz display (which has received an A+ rating from DisplayMate), Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, and an impressive 108MP camera. The Mi 11 also sports high-quality sound provided by Harmon Kardon, which can be heard through its dual speakers situated on the bottom of the phone.

Unlike other brands, Xiaomi still provides you everything you need because inside the box it contains a power adapter, USB Type-C cable, Type-C to 3.5 mm headphone adapter, SIM ejector tool, soft case, user guide and warranty card.

The industry-leading Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor is built with 5nm process technology, and comes with a vastly upgraded CPU (Kyro 680 with Arm Cortex-XL tech), GPU (Adreno 660), and AI performance (26 trillion operations per second) compared to its predecessors. All of this power needs an equally large battery, which the phone has with its 4600 mAh battery capable of 55W wired turbo charging or 50W wireless turbo charging. The cherry on top is it takes only 45 minutes to reach 100% battery using a corded charger and 53 minutes on a wireless dock.

The Mi 11’s display screen features WQHD+ technology, which provides ultra-high resolution (3200×1440) and nearly 1.8x the pixel counts found on FHD+ screens. The 120Hz refresh rate means that your general screen experience, especially with gaming or streaming, is smooth and uninterrupted. On top of this, a 480Hz touch sampling rate means that your actions on the touchscreen are picked up rapidly, as the phone responds near-instantaneously.

Xiaomi confidently claim that you can “shoot like a director” with their excellent camera and video capability. One-Click AI Cinema is an easy-to-use feature that includes Time Freeze, Magic Zoom, Slow Shutter, Night Time-lapse, Freeze Frame Video, Parallel World, and various Cinematic Video Filters. Ultra Night Video, a standout feature, utilizes RAW-level AI real-time noise reduction and brightness enhancement. A 5MP telemacro lens allows you to zoom in on hidden details in your photos and videos, while AI Erase 2.0 uses an advanced AI algorithm to take out unwanted lines or objects.

In terms of safety, the phone’s quad-curved design is supplemented with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, making the screen incredibly durable with a 150% increase in drop performance and a 200% increase in scratch resistance.
