In an effort to get more people into less cars, Uber is bringing its ridesharing option uberPOOL into Metro Manila. Starting June 15, the testing phase of this feature begins. It promises you up to 25 percent less payment than uberX while notifying you of pricing upfront, meaning you know how much you have to pay before you book (like what Grab does).
If you’re not in a hurry, this should be fine. But you’ll probably think about it if you need to get to your destination quickly. This feature promises to have you pay less, even if you’re not matched with others. You can book a maximum of two people per pickup.
