Uber’s new promo is its way of trying to decongest the road and save you a few pesos, too. With uberHOP, Uber’s newest way to get as many people going to the same direction in one vehicle, there’s now a new friend discount.
If you book a HOP ride with a friend, you each will just pay P50 instead of the regular P75 fare. All you have to do is select the uberHOP route closest to you. In the confirmation screen select the number of seats you want to reserve and head on over to your pickup point. The discount will be applied at the end of the ride.
uberHOP is available during weekdays (except for non-working holidays) between 7-10 a.m. and 5-9 p.m. It can hold six passengers at a time. It’s currently only available in Makati and BGC.
