The new special edition TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche pays tribute to both the classic TAG Heuer Carrera and the legendary Porsche 911. Racing heritage and commitment to innovation and design is at the heart of both iconic brands and models, and it is on full display with this timepiece.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche features racing red highlights throughout its bespoke shimmering silver dial. The black Porsche-inspired and branded 60-second scale on the bezel complements the silver tones of the watch elegantly. The polished steel case houses a glass box domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective treatment. The rear of the case meanwhile houses a glass box sapphire backing showcasing the artfully crafted in-house TH20-08 movement. This movement pays homage to the Porsche engine and the time it took for the first Porsche 911 to reach 100km/h. For context, in 1963, the first Porsche 911 (called a 901 at the time) took only 9.1 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h. The Porsche 911 is further emphasized through its iconic font embroidered on the black leather watch strap.
