Toyota jumpstarts the nation’s pandemic recovery via mobility for all

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is all set to help give the country a much-needed boost by giving every sector of today’s pandemic-weary society an easier and safer way to enjoy mobility.

Whether you need to drive to work, buy essentials, or—once it’s safe—go to school or take a trip with the family, mobility will always be a crucial part of every person’s life.

Toyota acknowledges the transportation challenges we face in the new normal and, in an effort to help consumers overcome these challenges, is offering options that will make moving not only easier, but also safer for all.

Whether you’re a head of the family looking for a new SUV, a college student checking out a new hatchback or small sedan, a multi-tasking mom needing a new MPV or crossover, or an entrepreneur seeking a spacious van or dependable pickup, Toyota can craft a special package to meet your needs and budget.

And for our heroic frontliners who risk their lives every day to care for Covid-19 patients, Toyota offers even lower downpayments.

Getting everyone back on their feet—and on wheels—is the crucial next phase in the country’s road to recovery. As factories, offices, schools, and other sectors of society prepare to reopen their doors, people need to become mobile once again. Public transportation is becoming available once more, albeit with limited seating capacities due to the need for physical distancing.

Toyota hopes that with its expansive suite of car-buying options and packages, car buyers from all walks of life will find something that will meet their mobility needs and help them overcome the challenges in a post-pandemic world.

But it’s not just in terms of choices of models and financing packages that Toyota is moving with the times, the company is making the actual process of buying a car much safer and more convenient.

For one thing, choosing a new model and variant is as easy as clicking away on your computer. Once it’s time to go to the dealer (or should you prefer to do your shopping in an actual showroom), Toyota dealerships employ full Covid-19-related safety protocols by conducting temperature checks for all customers and employees, performing regular disinfection of the entire facility (with special focus on high-traffic areas), and strictly implementing social distancing. Toyota will limit the number of customers inside a dealership at all times and has even changed the layouts of its showrooms and service reception areas to facilitate social distancing.

These protective protocols are employed not just on the sales side. For those who intend to have their cars serviced, Toyota has recently launched a digital tool called MyToyotaPH, which allows customers to conveniently set appointments for car maintenance and repairs via computer or mobile device. Toyota is urging customers to set appointments to avoid inconvenience as dealers will only be accommodating customers with confirmed service appointments.

Until the end of May, Toyota dealers will be offering various deals, including outright discounts of as much as P125,000 on a new Vios, P60,000 on a Hilux and up to P30,000 on new Innovas and Fortuners. Huge savings also come with select variants of the Wigo, Rush, Avanza, and Hiace.

Toyota even offers payment holidays which allows customers to buy a new car with a pre-set down payment, and pay the monthly amortization two months later. Easy-on-the-pocket low down payments and monthly amortizations are also available for selected Toyota models.

Participating dealers will be offering free PMS up to 20,000 kms. and free vehicle sanitation services when customers purchase select variants of the Vios, Corolla Altis, Rush, Fortuner, Hilux, and FMC Hiace. Under the promo, customers are eligible for 5 free Bactaklenz Vehicle Interior Sanitation treatments. Customers can go to https://toyota.com.ph/promos/bactaklenz for more details.

Select variants of the Vios will also come with an extended warranty coverage of 5 years/150,000 kms. when you purchase the locally assembled bestselling car within the month. There are also special trade-in promos for various Toyota models.
