Experience more, live more with Toyota’s new Innova XE

Toyota continues to bolster the lineup of their immensely popular people mover, the Innova, with the recent introduction of its latest variant, the XE. Despite already having several variants, Toyota’s mission to cater to more needs of Filipino families is evident with the addition of the Diesel-powered Innova XE.

Slotting in between the base model, J, and the E variants, the XE is Toyota’s most affordable automatic transmission Innova. Moreover, with an enticing price tag of only ₱1,375,000, the XE is priced only slightly higher than the J variant (₱1,261,000) and notably less than the E A/T variant (₱1,529,000).

So, what exactly sets the XE apart, and what did it retain from its fellow variants to better meet the needs of certain Filipino families?

Under the hood, you’ll find the familiar 2.8-liter Turbo Diesel Engine, with outputs of 174ps and 360Nm, partnered with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The XE is also equipped with similar safety features, namely 3 SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, Vehicle Stability Control and Hill Start Assist. Whether for short hops around the city or long road trips out of town, the Innova XE is capable enough to take you and your family from place to place reliably, safely, and efficiently.

One of the main highlights of all previous variants is its roomy interior that can seat up to eight people, as both spaciousness and comfort are still at the forefront. This further shows Toyota’s dedication in mastering vehicles where everyone in the family can enjoy and benefit from.

Similar to that of the E variant, the XE boasts a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, manual A/C controls and fabric seats.

In terms of its exterior, the XE leans more toward the J variant, as it is equipped with steel wheels with plastic covers, instead of the 16” alloy wheels seen on the E variant. Despite the difference in wheel material, the tire size remains the same. Furthermore, the XE doesn’t adopt the LED fog lights as seen on the E variant.

The Innova XE is available in four different colors, namely Silver Metallic, Black, Blackish Red Mica and Red Mica Metallic.

Already regarded as the dependable, versatile, and spacious MPV for Filipino families, Toyota’s ever-reliable Innova now has an alluring, new variant in the XE. Though more closely priced to the J variant than that of the E, the XE is more similarly patterned after the latter in terms of features. This not only proves that Toyota is aware of the various needs of different families, but continuously strives to meet these exact needs in the best and most affordable way possible, ultimately offering customers more value for money in a loaded package.
