SXSW puts up 10GB worth of MP3s from its 2016 festival

A lot of things happen at South by Southwest that we can forget it’s also a music festival. And much like they’ve done in years past, SXSW has released two torrents containing music from the artists who played this year, DRM-free.

This year’s torrents contain the most number of songs yet at 1,593 totaling 10.33GB of good music. And yes, this torrent is legal. Putting the files in a torrent makes it easy to access the files. You can even download torrents of music from past festivals dating back to 2005. You can access the files here.

MP3s might be a thing of the past in this age of music streaming but for those who still like to stock up on good music, this might be worth the download and space.
