The Huawei Film PH Multimedia Contest is a dedicated event for Huawei users to demonstrate their skills and mastery over their camera technology. The contest encourages all Huawei phone owners with a passing interest in photography and videography to flex their skills.
Over a period of 12 weeks starting November 15, 2019, all Huawei phone owners can submit their photo/video entries to Huawei’s official Facebook and Instagram pages with the hashtags #HuaweiFilmPH and #TakenOnHUAWEI. Every two-week period has a different theme/category that serves as the basis for submissions, including Ultra-Wide Life, Merry in Low Light, Bokeh Holidays, Beauty in Slow-Mo, Dual Perspectives, and Wonders in Timelapse. All categories will feature separate photo and video winners.

Prompted by the successful release of the Huawei Mate 30 Series in the Philippines, the Huawei Film PH Multimedia Contest highlights the camera superiority of these devices, especially in the video department. The 40MP Cine Camera on the Mate 30 Pro alone supports a variety of shooting modes designed to reproduce creative visions into tangible works of art.
Contest Proceeds will Support Environmental Advocacies
In addition to being a showcase of creative talent for Filipino Huawei users, the contest will serve as a fundraiser for Huawei’s environmental advocacy, Project E for E. For its first endeavor, Huawei is already set to supply high-tech networking equipment for Parrotfishnet, a project designed by non-profit Save Philippine Seas to protect and preserve the Burias Shoal Marine Sanctuary in Misamis Oriental.
Every valid photo and video entry amounts to a Php10 donation, and Huawei will donate up to Php 300,000 to its NGO partner, Save Philippine Seas.
