SEAOIL Radical Challenge Ph and Porsche Design Manila revs up for Round 2 at BRC

Drivers set to duke out in an exciting 2nd round on a new circuit.

The country’s fastest racing series is all set to roll out the 2nd round of 2023 as the SEAOIL Radical Challenge Philippines takes the action to the Batangas Racing Circuit (BRC) this 22nd to 24th of September.

Powered by SEAOIL Extreme-97 octane, the grid full of Radical SR1s will once again be composed of last round’s podium finishers, namely Joaquin Garrido, Miguel Quiñones, and Iñigo Anton. They will be joined by series newcomer Juancho Brobio who’s set to drive the #55 yellow-and-blue liveried SEAOIL SR1. Brobio is a relative newcomer to motorsports, but already has extensive experience under his belt driving different types of machinery. He has entered time attack events, competed in Philippine GT200, and tested with Formula V1. This will be a one-off outing for Brobio who is eyeing a full-time drive next season.

Driving for PartPro Racing x Porsche Design Manila, Joaquin Garrido earned his first-ever win Radical Challenge on his debut race. He fought fought neck-and-neck with reigning champion Iñigo Anton throughout the 12-lap fixture to secure victory. Anton came 2nd, while multiple-time karting champion and Radical Challenge rookie Miguel Quiñones completed the podium.

With a reverse grid start, an eventful Race 2 saw the trio swap finishing positions. Garrido and Anton were both involved in several race incidents that allowed Quiñones to swoop in and take the lead with Garrido crossing the line in 2nd and Anton in 3rd.
