To celebrate the first decade of the Galaxy S series and officially introducing the Samsung Galaxy S10 in the Philippines, Samsung Philippines hosted their first-ever concert launch—and boy, was it a party.
Held at Cove Manila on February 26 and hosted by Joey Mead King, the event was graced by over 800 guests, including Samsung Philippines’ President James Jung, Product Marketing Heads Benson Galguerra and Lea Cua-Lopez, and Marketing Manager Isabella Concepcion.
Samsung also flew in a treat for all the K-Pop fans in the crowd, bringing Korean boy group iKON back to Manila (who just had a sold-out concert last November) to perform some of their hits.
It was a grand night to witness the legacy of the Samsung S-series and how the company has evolved, grown, and innovated—and continues to do so, up to the Galaxy S10.
“The Samsung Galaxy S10 builds on the incredible legacy of the Galaxy S series, which has delivered the best mobile experiences to consumers in the past decade,” Jung said.
We were given a first-hand look of the Galaxy S10 and it is as gorgeous as it looks in pictures. It comes packed with many new features, including a Dynamic AMOLED display, a wider 19:9 screen-body ratio, an amazing camera setup (boosted for ultra-wide shots on both the front and rear), an embedded ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, crazy large storage options (up to 1.5 TB on the limited-edition S10+), and wireless PowerShare capability (you can simultaneously charge your S10 along with your other Samsung phone or wearables).
