Samsung outs its first triple camera phone, the Galaxy A7

There are nine cameras between the Galaxy A7 and the Galaxy A9 alone. Aside from dropping ports left and right, we are firmly living in the tech age where more camera sensors are being placed into phones. Aside from launching its first quad rear camera-toting Galaxy A9, Samsung also launched its first triple rear camera phone, the Galaxy A7. It comes with a main 24-megapixel lens with f/1.7 aperture; 5-megapixel depth lens with f/2.2 aperture and Live Focus to help you adjust the bokeh effect as you shoot; and an 8-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide lens. In front, you get a 24-megapixel shooter with adjustable LED flash.

The Galaxy A7 features a slightly smaller 6-inch, notch-free FHD+ Super AMOLED display, Dolby Atmos immersive sound technology (which makes listening with headphones a better experience), side fingerprint sensor, an octa-core 2.2GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage (expandable up to 512GB via microSD), Android 8.0, and 3,300mAh battery. It’ll be available in blue, black, and gold in the Philippines and will retail for P17,990. Those who pre-order from October 19 – 26 will get exclusive freebies worth up to P6,000.
