Want to get a good workout for a good cause? “Backbeat Run for A Cause 2017” is a half marathon event with 5K, 10K, 16K, and 21K categories happening on May 28, 2017 at SM Mall of Asia Complex.
Presented by Plantronics, the half marathon event is a first for the company that specializes in audio and wearable technology for communication. It’s meant to connect your passion with purpose. Plantronics partners with Brother Philippines to make Backbeat Run 2017 happen. Proceeds for this race will benefit Kythe Foundation a non-profit, non-stock organization aimed towards improving the quality of life among hospitalized children with cancer.
As the runners cross the finish line, participants will have the chance to gather around for the post-race festivities, which include awarding ceremony of race winners, raffle, and special awards.
There will also be an after party celebration with live music entertainment from our guest performers: Autotelic, Jensen & the Flips, Dj Patrick Po, DJ Katsy Lee, Hatta Boyz, and LGAC Dance Crew.

You can sign up at RUNNR stores in TriNoma, BGC, and Alabang Town Center as well as at TOBY’s outlets in Shangri-la Plaza, Glorietta, and SM Mall of Asia. As a treat for those who are joining, there will be a free Plantronics ML15 for those who register online or in the stores for ALL categories.

Mechanics:
1. Open to ALL registered runners online and in-store.
2. Registered runner is entitled to (1) one raffle entry.
3. Winner will be draw after the registration period.
4. Announcement of the winner will be posted on official Backbeat Run 2017 Facebook page and Plantronics Facebook page.
5. Awarding will be done on the event day.
