Philips designed its new Ultra High Definition (UHD) monitor with the most discerning customers in mind: demanding professionals requiring extremely detailed images for meticulous applications like CAD solutions, 3D graphics applications, and wide content-heavy spreadsheets.

The new Brilliance monitor features Philips’ MultiView 4K, allowing four devices to be viewed in Full HD on one screen. Picture-by-picture (PbP) and picture-in-picture (PiP) modes enable flexible monitoring of multiple systems.

The display features an advanced IPS 178/178-degree display technology that permits extra wide viewing angles while maintaining the monitor’s remarkably crisp images and vivid colors.

Meanwhile, SmartImage is an exclusive Philips technology that will optimize the contrast, color saturation, and sharpness of videos and images to suit different tasks. A number of modes are available including Office, Photo or Movie, Game, and an Economy mode for maximum power saving.

The monitor is more than just a top quality display—a pair of built-in 7-watt stereo speakers provide vibrant sound quality.

Featuring Philips’ SmartConnect for 4K, the display is equipped with ample connectivity options. These include DisplayPort and HDMI 2.0 connections that support high resolution uncompressed video in 4K UHD resolution at 60Hz. A convenient USB 3.0 hub supports 5.0 gigabyte per second transfer rate. FastCharge enables quicker charging of high current devices. And with Mobile High Definition Link (MHL), you can connect compatible mobile devices to your monitor to simultaneously charge and stream mobile multimedia onto the extensive display.
