The Philippines has won its fourth consecutive championship in the NBA 2K Asia Tournament held last March 2 at the TriNoma Activity Center. The event was quite a showcase of Filipino talent as Rial Polog (PBE_Rial) went up against teammate and fellow Pinoy NBA 2K pro, Clark Banzon (PBE_Clark). It was a close match, with the game reaching second overtime. Finally, with a score of 97-93, beating Banzon over just a few points, Polog emerged victorious. Having also won the NBA 2K16 championships, Polog is now a two-time NBA 2K Asia Tournament Champion and will be taking home US$6,000 from the $10,000 prize pool.
