We’re already in the month of July, but it feels like only now is the summer season really starting to ramp up. It’s quite unusual given how the rainy season probably should’ve started about a month ago. But then again, not surprising given climate change. Amidst the massive heat wave we’re experiencing, a hero steps up to the plate to save us. And his name is none other than Papa Diddi’s.
Papa Diddi’s is a local ice cream brand known for its unique flavors and its commitment to handcrafting ice cream using only the finest ingredients sourced locally from all over the country. This coming Friday (July 14), from 10am to 5pm, we’ll be given a chance to taste these unique flavors through the Scoop All You Can event, happening at Papa Diddi’s branches in Maginhawa and Eastwood.

Scoop All You Can – the title seems straightforward. For only Php 350, you can fill up a 220cc cup with as many scoops of ice cream as you want, or as many as you think your brain and your teeth can handle. Sounds like a dream if you ask me, especially for those who have an unhinged ice cream addiction, much like me.
To sign up for this event, all you have to do is scan the QR code found on Papa Diddi’s Facebook and Instagram @papadiddis. There’ll be limited slots, so make sure to reserve yours as soon as possible. The actual mechanics of the event can also be found on their social media pages, so make sure to check it out before registering.
I, for one, will be dropping by the Maginhawa branch on Friday to satisfy my ice cream craving. Both the store and my stomach will need to prepare in order to accommodate 100 scoops of ice cream.
