Right after making the announcement at CES 2019, MSI Gaming Laptop Philippines recently dropped the price and specs for their latest release—the MSI G-series gaming laptops that are powered by NVIDIA GeForce RTX.
First up is the GT75 Titan 8SG, a behemoth of a gaming laptop. MSI debuted this heavyweight (literally and figuratively) with exciting new upgrades to its GT75 line. The Titan 8SG weighs in at 4.56kg. While a 4-kilogram-and-so laptop is not a shock to the gaming world in general, it still packs quite a workout if you plan to bring it around. It comes with a big 17.3-inch UHD 4K 100% Adobe RGB IPS display. Inside is an Intel 8th-Gen Core i7-8750H processor, an RTX 2080 8GB GDDR6 graphics card, Super Raid 4 512GB NVMe SSD, as well as up to 128GB of DDR4-2666MHz RAM. The GT75 Titan 8SG sells for P269,995.
Next up is the GE75 8SF. It sports the same Intel Core i7-8750H processor, but this laptop comes with an RTX 2070 8GB GDDR6 graphics instead of an RTX 2080, and at nearly half the weight of the GT75 Titan 8SG at 2.6kg. It also trades in the 4K display for a 17.3-inch Full HD 100% sRGB panel. It comes with up to 32GB of DDR4-2666MHz RAM and 256GB NVMe PCIe SSD + 1TB 7200rpm HDD storage. The GE75 8SF retails for P149,995.
The GL63 8SE, on the other hand, is very attractive for its price-range—hitting just five pesos below the P100k range at P99,995. It’s quite the steal with the same Intel Core i7-8750H processor as its hard-hitting siblings and an RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6 GPU. It packs in 8GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM and 1TB 7200rpm HDD. And you get a slightly smaller 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display.
The GS65 8SF-082PH Stealth takes us back to the game but without all the heavy lifting. Perfect for gaming enthusiasts who are always on-the-go, the GS65 8SF-082PH Stealth comes packed with all the essentials, such as an 8th-Gen Core i7-8750H processor, RTX 2070 8GB GDDR6 GPU, Full HD 15.6-inch 100% sRGB display, up to 32GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM, and 512GB NVMe PCIe Gen 3×4 SSD storage. Plus, all of these come at just 1.9kg. It will be available for pre-order soon, so stay tuned.
