Gong Xi Fa Cai! Google’s celebrating the Lunar New Year with Shadow Art, an AI experiment that teaches you about the ancient art of Chinese shadow puppetry. This web-based experiment makes use of TensorFlow.js to run the machine learning models right in the browser along with the front-facing camera of your device to teach you how to contort your hands into shadow puppets. Google makes a game out of it by giving you 20 seconds to form each animal with an end goal of going through the complete lunar cycle as quickly as possible.
