It isn’t just your phone or your computer that’s smarter these days, even your washing machine gets the tag “smart” attached to it. Midea brings many of these high-tech and smart features into its new iAdd Auto-Dosing washing machines.
Available in 10.5kg Top Load and 8kg Front Load, these washing machines are designed to use less detergent and fabric softener while making sure your clothes get thoroughly cleaned. Midea dubs this as the iAdd Auto-Dosing feature, which weighs the amount of laundry you put in to measure the right amount of water, detergent, and fabric conditioner your clothes need. These machines even checks the clarity of the water and adds an additional rinse cycle if it sees there’s residue in the water.
These won’t cause a ruckus either as both machines come equipped with a silent inverter. Say goodbye to the days when you’d hear your laundry tumble around the washing machine. The Front Load model comes with a dryer that has an auto dryer sensor. This sensor detects what ideal drying setting to you so it can save you time, electricity, as well as avoid accidentally shrinking your clothes. Now, when it comes to a unique feature when it comes to the Top Load model, it has a “child lock” feature that’ll set off an alarm of sorts when your kids get playful and decide they want to enter the washing machine’s tub.
In terms of cost, Midea claims the 8kg iAdd Front Load combo should cost you a total of P13.56 per wash, while the 10.5kg iAdd Top Load model should cost you P22.14. How much do these machines cost? The Top Load model has a P31,995 suggested retail price but an on-going promo brings down the price to P28,795. Meanwhile, the Front Load model has a P49,995 SRP and the promo cuts down its price to P43,995. On top of the price cuts, Midea is adding in freebies with both washing machines. Those who buy the Top Load model get a free Safety Kettle, 1600W Induction Cooker, and 20L Mechanical Microwave, while those who get the Front Load washing machine get a free Safety Kettle, 1600W Induction Cooker, and 5L Digital Pressure Cooker.
