MG Motor Philippines kicked off the Multiply Greatness Tour 2026 at the Trinoma Activity Center on August 27, 2026. Under suitable conditions, the battery can charge from 10% to 90% in approximately 24 minutes, while AC charging is supported at up to 7 kW. The S5 EV offers a 415-kilometer NEDC range, giving drivers the flexibility to handle everyday travel and longer journeys with confidence.
The S5 EV also makes electric ownership more convenient with features such as scheduled charging, battery thermal optimization, regenerative braking with Low, Medium, Strong, and Adaptive settings, and One-Pedal Drive. At 4,476 mm long, 1,849 mm wide, and 1,621 mm high, with a 2,730 mm wheelbase, it offers the proportions of a compact SUV that are well-suited to both city streets and weekend escapes. Inside, it provides 453 liters of cargo space, expanding to 1,441 liters with the rear seats folded and underfloor storage included, giving drivers the flexibility to carry everything from everyday essentials to luggage for longer trips.
Its modern exterior complements its electric character with sporty details including 17-inch alloy wheels with aero fins, projector LED headlights, Racing Flag-design LED daytime running lights and taillights, gloss black door mirrors, and a rear spoiler. Load-bearing roof rails capable of supporting up to 75 kilograms further enhance its practicality for active lifestyles.
Inside, the S5 EV keeps technology within easy reach. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster works alongside a 12.8-inch touchscreen display, while wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto provide seamless smartphone connectivity. Automatic climate control, Smart Entry, electronic parking brake with Auto Brake Hold, multiple USB ports, 60:40 split-folding rear seats, and a PM2.5 cabin filter add everyday convenience for both driver and passengers.
The MG S5 EV comes equipped with an extensive suite of MG Pilot advanced driver-assist technologies, including Front Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Emergency Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, Door Opening Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Braking, Rear Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam Assist, Intelligent Headlight Control, Intelligent Speed Assistance, and Driver Monitoring System.
