When it comes to gaming peripherals, one of the additional features some gamers look for is good LED lighting or to be more specific RGB LED lighting. Many gaming peripheral makers have begun to adopt RGB lighting onto their range of products from keyboards, mice, and even headsets. And Logitech has finally launched their new line of Spectrum RGB lighted peripherals which include the new G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB Gaming Mouse, the G633 Artemis Spectrum RGB 7.1 Gaming Headset, and the G810 Orion Spectrum RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard.
The first product in the new line, the G633 Artemis Spectrum, is one of the new gaming headsets the company introduced last year targeted at the high-end gaming peripheral segment. It’s one of Logitech’s most featured-packed peripherals as it comes with Logitech’s new Pro-G Audio Drivers coupled with 7.1 Dolby® or DTS Headphone:X Surround Sound, programmable G-keys, multi-source audio mixing, a foldaway noise-cancelling microphone, two independently customizable RGB LED lighting zones, custom sound profiles, and multi-platform compatibility.
Up next is the G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB Gaming Mouse which keeps the same design and features as the original G502 Proteus Core but with the addition of the Spectrum RGB LED lighting. It still features the same 11 programmable buttons, 12,000 DPI optical sensor, dual-mode scroll wheel, and balance and weight customization. The only changes are the addition of customizable RGB LED lighting on the ‘G’ logo as well as on the profile/DPI indicator and a slight aesthetic change on the thumb rest.
The third and last product launched by Logitech is the G810 Orion Spectrum RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. It’s one of the two new mechanical keyboards recently launched by Logitech that feature a different and more conventional design than the company’s other mechanical keyboards. The G810 is equipped with Logitech’s own Romer-G mechanical switches that are coupled with customizable Spectrum RGB LED lighting. It also comes with a set of media keys and a volume scroller.
Additionally, Logitech also launched the G610 Orion Brown Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard which features the same design as the G810 Orion Spectrum but instead of using Logitech’s Romer-G mechanical switches and RGB LED lighting the G610 comes with classic Cherry MX Brown switches that are backlit by adjustable white LEDs.
Logitech’s new set of Spectrum RGB peripherals are now available through Logitech’s retailer partners for a price of Php9,150 for the G810 Orion Spectrum Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, Php3,990 for the G502 Proteus Spectrum Gaming Mouse, Php6,900 for the G633 Artemis Spectrum Gaming Headset, and Php7,399 for the G610 Orion Brown Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard.
