There are four new Lenovo ThinkPad machines designed to address specific business needs of its users. Equipped with the latest Intel Kaby Lake processors, these machines promise faster performance all around. We have the new Lenovo ThinkPad X270, T470, and E470 laptops as well as the ThinkStation P410. Let’s take a quick look at the key features of each device:

Lenovo ThinkPad X270
The X270 merges portability and performance. One of its key features is having up to 21 hours of battery life thanks to two batteries, which can be swapped out. It comes with a 12.5-inch display and runs on up to Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and the latest Intel Core 7th-generation i7-6600U processor. You can opt to get up to 1TB OPAL2 TLC NVMe storage and up to 16GB DDR4 memory. The X270 comes with Windows Hello’s Biometric fingerprint technology to allow for easier logins into the machine. Pricing for this laptop starts at P89,990.

Lenovo ThinkPad T470
If you need a bigger display and bigger capacity SSD drive, you can turn to the T470. This Kaby Lake-powered laptop (up to Core i7-7600U) comes with a 14-inch display and an option of either a 1TB Solid State Drive or 2TB Hard Disk Drive. There’s twice the amount of security here with Windows Hello via an infrared camera or through the fingerprint scanner. It also runs on up to Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, up to 32GB DDR4 memory, and has a promised battery life of up to 18 hours. Just like the X270, this passes the MIL-SPEC 810G military standards for durability. Pricing for the T470 begins at P62,990.

Lenovo ThinkPad E470
Considered the entry-level laptop, Lenovo promises it doesn’t scrimp on quality with the E470. But it’s important to note, it has a plastic-based shell. You still get the option to have a fingerprint reader on this unit. It can run on up to an Intel Core i7-7500U processor, Windows 10 Pro, either Integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 or discrete NVIDIA GeForce graphics, and up to 32GB DDR4 memory. Your storage options are either 256GB SSD or up to 1TB HDD. Battery life is slated at around eight hours. But if price is a big consideration, pricing starts at P36,990 for the E470.

Lenovo ThinkStation P410
For creatives who need powerful workstations, Lenovo introduces the P410. It comes with the Intel Xeon processors, which are considered server-class processors, and NVIDIA Quadro processors. You can get up to 128GB DDR4 memory with four DIMM slots, a total of four drivers with two internal storage bays with M.2 SSDs and SAS drives options. This ThinkStation also comes with Flex module support for easier customization. Pricing for the P410 starts at P87,990.

The extras
Alongside the ThinkPads and ThinkStation, Lenovo also launched two additional mobile devices built for small business use.

One of them is the Lenovo V310. This laptop can actually bring the fight to the E470 with its specs and configurable options. It can also run on up an Intel Core i7-7500U processor and Windows 10 Pro operating system. You get smaller memory of up to 16GB DDR4 memory though and up to six hours on the base battery. But if you consider swapping out the DVD drive for a second battery, this can push it up to 12 hours. The V310 also offers the option of having an HDD or SSD or an SSD plus HDD combo. It comes with either a 14-inch or 15.6-inch anti-glare display and an optional fingerprint reader. Pricing starts at P35,990 and on paper it does seem like the more attractive option.

In the 2-in-1 space, Lenovo launches the Miix 510. It eschews the use of Intel Core M processor for Core i7, which power users will appreciate. It has a 12.2-inch display, up to 8GB of Memory, up to 1TB PCIe SSD, and runs on up to Windows 10 Pro. It comes with a backlit keyboard and promises up to seven and a half hours of battery life. It comes with LTE support and is optimized for VoIP so you can take it easily with you and still have your business up and running. Pricing for the Miix 510 begins at P47,990.
