After the launch in the IFA Berlin earlier this month, Lenovo has brought their new line of Ultrabooks to the Philippines. Bringing a total of 10 IdeaPad and Yoga devices, which all come pre-installed with a suite of Microsoft office for home and students as well as powered with 10th Generation Intel Ice Lake or Comet Lake processors. Just to differentiate between the two: Ice lake generally focuses more on AI tech while Comet Lake on productivity and performance.
Earlier this year Lenovo also brought out several new products, featuring a lineup of Yoga, IdeaPads, IdeaSpace, and Legion. This time around, Lenovo brings out a refreshed line of Yoga and IdeaPads models that are a cut above the rest.
Our personal favorites from the launch include the Yoga C940, the IdeaPad C340, and the Yoga C640
Yoga C940
First, let’s talk about the flagship of the convertible series—the C940. Proudly toted as the ‘first 10th-gen [device] in the entire series’, there’s a lot to be excited about C940. It packs in incredible specs and skims just 5 pesos short of the P100,000 mark. Among its unique features is a rotating Dolby Atmos rotating soundbar which allows sound to face the user whether in laptop or tablet mode. Its 14″ 4K display with 500 nits of brightness along with the Intel Iris Plus graphics ensures crisp and vibrant display for design work, sketching, or video editing. IdeaPad C340
The IdeaPad C340, on the other hand, is a balanced device for those who’d need the 2-in-1 feature but can do without the extras. Available in 14- and 15-inche variants, it can support the 10th-gen core and has a multi-touchscreen functionality and an active pen for sketching. The IdeaPad C340 starts at P25,995.
Yoga C640
Lastly, the Yoga C640. Best recognized for its whopping 20 hours of battery life. A workhorse of a device, it is optimized to quickly process tasks in order to maximize productivity. Its 13.3″ FHD IPs touchscreen display lets you work comfortable while keeping everything tucked in, weighing in at only 1.25 kg. The Yoga C640 retails at P64,995
Along with the new line-up, Lenovo is also bringing back previously launched models such as the S940, refreshed with Intel 10th-gen.
