J&T Express reopens branches nationwide

Logistics company to transport vital goods

J&T Express, the leading e-commerce delivery company in Southeast Asia, resumed its operations nationwide. 

In compliance with the memorandum from the Department of Trade and Industry, the company is allowed for transporting certain goods such as essential and hygiene products, vitamins and medicines, and other dry goods.

“We are grateful that the Philippine government allowed us to continue our operations. Since the enhanced community quarantine was imposed, we have seen difficulties in the transportation of essential goods. In these challenging times, we make sure that important goods such as healthcare essentials and other dry goods safely arrive in areas where they are needed the most.” said Dean Ding, J&T Express chief executive officer.

The company also announced that customers and clients may contact the branch nearest to them to confirm the delivery status of their parcel or package before going to the branch, if they wish for their item to be picked up. While J&T Express has resumed operations, it still strictly follows and implements social distancing in all its branches. 

“Since we resumed our operations, we make sure to strictly follow the guidelines provided by the authorities in securing the welfare of our employees. In line with this, regular temperature readings are conducted before the start of every shift. We also provide face masks, gloves, disinfectants and sanitizers because we value the safety of all our employees and customers.” added Ding.

J&T Express also reiterates that the public should follow the government’s call to practice proper hygiene and safety precautions such as wearing facemasks, thorough washing of hands with water and soap, using hand sanitizers or alcohol, and practice social distancing at all times. For those who are experiencing symptoms of the virus, it is also advised to be self-quarantined at home or call the DOH hotline (02)8651-7800 for inquiries on what to do

  1. Good day po. I’m a new seller po sa shopee, actually wala pa pong one week. Ang ibinigay po nilang courier sakin ay J&T Express. May mga parcels po akong until now nandito pa rin po sa akin, nakailang re-sched na po ako ng pick up pero laging ang status is item not available for pick-up. Nakakalungkot po. May 33 parcels po ako, and ito po ang mga first batch of orders ko sa shopee. 🙁 Paano po kung paulit ulit na hindi mapick-up ang parcel, ano pong mangyayari sa order? May dalawa po kasing nagbayad tru shopee guarantee pay. And all the remaining po is COD. 🙁 Nagtatanong na rin po mga buyer sakin. What should I do po? Loc ko po is Sta. Mesa Manila.
