There’s so much to do on the MatePad Pro, one of our favorites from Huawei recent launch. It’s packed full of power from its flagship Kirin 990 chipeset plus 6GB of RAM. And with the smart cover and the M-Pencil? I guarantee you’re not going to need (or want) anything else.
From the productive to the not-so productive, we’ve compiled our top app picks below all of which you can download now from the Huawei App Gallery:

5. PicsArt

Work on your photo-editing skills with PicsArt, this free to use app has all the basic features you need to get started along with cool effects, stickers, and filters to play with to your hear’s content.

Alternatively, aspiring bloggers and content creators can take a shot at their video making. The app is free and easy to navigate and can help you create your next vlog post or a compilation of all the cute stuff your pet does (not speaking from experience).

7. WattPad

Itching to write that story that’s been stuck in your head? WattPad’s one avenue where you can write and share your words to the online community. But if writing is not your thing, you can also read others’ tories for free.

8. WPS Office

This office suite comes pre-installed on the MatePad Pro and has special features that optimizes the use of the M-Pencil for maximum productivity.

9. Nebo for Huawei

Huawei collaborated with developer, MyScript for this intuitive, AI-driven digital notebook. It comes pre-installed on the MatePad Pro and you can use it to take notes, solve simple equations, and sketch charts and diagrams. It has a ton of smart features too, like converting your handwriting to text for easy editing, for one.

10. MeeTime

Zoom who? Those using the P40 series or the MatePad Pro can already use Huawei’s very own video conferencing application. It supports up to 1080p Full HD video calls and uses Huawei’s AI image optimization powers so that you won’t have to worry about things like bad lighting. There’s also everyone’s favorite background changing feature for you to pretend to be on an island somewhere, sipping cocktails with the sun on your face. At least, on-screen you are.
For teams working online (or friends wanting to online shop together), there’s a two-way screen sharing feature that can be connected to third-party cameras and webcams, too.
