The Huawei MatePad T, launched last May 21, is an affordable compact tablet which is easy to bring anytime, anywhere. It comes with ultra-slim bezels giving an 80% screen-to-body ratio—an ample on-screen room for immersive entertainment when on the go. It also has a 5,100mAh battery and only weighs 310g which makes it easier to carry around.
Retailing at P5,990 it’s available with freebies worth PHP 3,968. It also includes the Huawei MatePad T Official Flipcover, HUAWEI Cloud Storage for 12 months, Huawei Video VIP Membership for 3 months, WPS Premium Membership for 3 months and P150 Pesoloan Cash Back. Moreover, anyone who will pre-order HUAWEI MatePad T from June 8 until June 21 can also bag themselves an additional colorful Bluetooth speaker.
The MatePad T is powered by a MediaTek MT8768 octa-core chipset that comes with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU with a 2GB RAM + 32GB storage. These are necessary to support daily usage such as web browsing, navigation, and cellular connectivity. It also runs with the EMUI 10.0.1 which gives an enhanced dark mode to make it more comfortable to read.
With the 5100mAh battery, it can last up to 12 hours of local video playback, and 12 hours webpage browsing. It also features Kids’ Corner which has smart features to protect children’s eyesight and at the same time enjoy different activities such as doodling or drawing.
The MatePad T also features a 5MP camera with a f/2.2 aperture. It supports panorama, HDR, beauty mode, and voice control photography. The front camera has a 2MP with a f/2.4 aperture which can also be used for the Face Unlock feature.
The Huawei MatePad T comes in an ocean-inspired tranquil Deepsea Blue.
