Fujifilm’s compact X-T30 mirrorless camera launches

Fujifilm Philippines officially launches the X-T30, the company’s newest compact and powerful mirrorless camera. The camera maker packed in improvements into this camera to appeal to a wider range of users. It now has a thinner, more intuitive 1.3mm touchscreen and has a new Focus Lever for shifting focus points easily. The Focus Lever was designed to take the place of the Selector Buttons so that you have an extra gripping area at the back of the camera. The X-T30 comes in black, premium silver, or a new charcoal silver body.

It comes with a faster, fourth-generation 26.1-megapixel X Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X processor 4. Its new auto-focus system supports smaller face tracking, eye detection, as well as Face Select for multiple subjects that will let you focus on one subject when there are many people in the frame. It can easily track fast-moving subjects even in low light. The X-T30 also has improved video capabilities. It boasts high-speed recording at 4K/30p with eye-tracking, support for F-log recording for 4:2:2 10-bit format through its HDMI port, and high-resolution audio. There is no word yet on pricing, but the target release is sometime next month
