To all Instax lovers, photographers, and general enthusiasts of tangible and spontaneous instant photography, FUJIFILM has introduced an exciting new camera into the market — the Instax Mini 13! Capturing memories is one thing, but being able to own it as a keepsake is another, and that is exactly where these Instax cameras shine.
FUJIFILM launches a new analog camera
Last April 22, 2026 at the SM Mall of Asia Main Mall Atrium, FUJIFILM launched its newest Instax Mini 13 in their very immersive Instax Pop District. We were welcomed with pastel-colored booths in a very bubbly and vibrant atmosphere. The Pop District was covered in light hues similar to the different colorways you may get with the newest Mini 13, which kept the place very welcoming and pleasing to the eyes. This truly showed how nice it was to see the Instax Mini 13 colors subtly stand out in an environment.

Throughout the event, attendees were able to explore the various colorful interactive pods in the Pop District. There were mini games to test your skills, a gacha machine where you could try your luck, a grazing table for bites and refreshments, as well as a personal favorite, a cotton candy corner! The Quicksnap booth gave the event-goers a better hands-on experience with the latest Instax Mini 13 camera and a chance to see its different colored variants close-up. Displayed in other areas of the Pop District were also other retro-esque instant cameras that FUJIFILM has to offer.
The Pop District had almost every space filled with Instagram-worthy backdrops for you to take photos to your heart’s content. Not only were there dedicated booths with backdrops for nice photo-ops or areas where you could take pictures with disposable cameras, but there was also a Biz Pop Photobooth where you take photos and watch them get printed with the Instax Mini Link+ printer, allowing you to have your own personal souvenir. This pastel-colored space welcomes guests until the end of the month, April 30; so drop by if you would like to experience the space for yourself.
FUJIFILM’S newest playful Instax
This newest instax camera features a new self-timer (2 or 10 seconds), which allows you more time to take your shot, get into position, or try out different poses or angles at different distances. The Instax Mini 13 also has a small mirror at the front of the camera, so you are able to correctly keep you and your friends in frame, perfect for selfies despite having no screen! These practical and convenient features help you feel more at ease, especially when taking these instant photos and prints on-the-go. The president of FUJIFILM Philippines, Masahiro Uehara, who was present for the release shared that “Instax is a simple way and better tool to capture the real moment and share them with others”, which is easily seen throughout the event, and encompasses what Instax and their latest launch is all about.
The newest members of the Instax Squad
Caprice Cayetano and Heath Jornales were also welcomed into the event as the newest members of the Instax squad. With Caprice already being an instax enthusiast who sees herself using it in moments with friends and family (as well as her travels), and Health being into photography, both shared just how much the Instax Mini 13 could be a constant companion. They shared how much they enjoy sharing their moments with the people they care about, and the importance of staying in and valuing the present. With how much Caprice enjoys taking photos, she mentions that she “likes sharing a piece of remembrance with (her) friends and family. It is like giving them a piece of you.” As for Heath, he says that “it is about capturing those genuine, unfiltered moments with the people who matter most — the real connection we share. And with the Instax Mini 13, there’s something you can give that is worth holding onto.”

As the FUJIFILM Philippines Imaging Solutions Marketing Head Glenn Gatan says “we are celebrating the courage to be authentic. To be vibrant, real, and unafraid to share your true selves with the world. Our goal is to inspire everyone to move beyond just taking a photo and start giving a piece of their story to others.” This truly shows their vision behind the creation of these cameras, and their aim with this launch.
