Foundever, a leader in the global customer experience (CX) industry, aims to bolster their workforce with the launch of Brigada Trabaho, a series of activities offering employment opportunities for qualified senior high school students and their relatives.

The project was conceptualized to support the Department of Education’s (DepEd) Brigada Eskwela. With a vision of fostering collaboration within the community, Brigada Trabahowas initiated by the Foundever University and Community Partnership (UCP) in collaboration with various academe stakeholders including local government officials, private sector representatives, parents, teachers, students and other community members.

“With the launch of Brigada Trabaho, we are given a remarkable opportunity to be immersed in different school settings and nearby communities,” said Lani Tindongan, UCP Specialist at Foundever in Tarlac. “We aim to attract talents and to provide them with an environment where they can create their best moments.”

Brigada Trabaho held recruitment activities at various local schools including Tarlac National High School, Tibag High School, Amucao National High School, and Caloocan City Business High School during the Brigada Eskwela week last August.

The project gathered leads through the collaborative efforts of teachers, parents, and alumni to gather and invite applicants. “Matagal na po naming gusto mag-apply sa Foundever,” (We have wanted to apply at Foundever for a while now) said Grace, a Brigada Trabaho applicant from Amucao National High School. Over 500 candidates applied through the program and more than 70% have been offered a job.

With the launch of Brigada Trabaho, Foundever showed their dedication to providing top-notch services and offering rewarding career opportunities for individuals looking to thrive in the BPO industry.

“We are very grateful to our academe partners and the Department of Education for supporting this endeavor,” noted Tindongan. The Brigada Trabaho, supporting DepEd’s Brigada Eskwela, was made an annual UCP activity aimed at fostering stronger partnerships between Foundever and the academe stakeholders. With the success of the first run, the team hopes to continue the program for the next year.
