Dell brings new lineup of monitors, introduces 5K monitor

Dell ends the year by bringing in four new UltraSharp monitors. This new lineup promises high-resolution picture quality and improved usability for users. The four different monitors are designed to cater to different price points and requirements.

UltraSharp UP2715K
The UltraSharp UP2715K is the company’s first 5K-resolution monitor and the flagship for the UltraSharp series. Designed for color-based and high-resolution imaging as well as gaming and software development, the 27-inch display features a 16:9 Ultra-HD 5K panel with a 5120 x 2880 resolution. It is built to display 1.07 billion colors and it covers 99 percent of the AdobeRGB and 100 percent of sRGB colors. The UP2715K was made using optical bonding of tempered glass and LCD panel to help boost readability. Its suggested retail price starts at US$2,499 (approx. P111,900).

The UltraSharp U3415W is a 34-inch monitor with a curved display that is ideal for gamers and game developers alike. It features an ultra-wide 21:9 screen with WQHD resolution (3440 x 1440). It doesn’t just offer a wider field of view but integrates many I/O ports including HDMI 2.0, MHL, DisplayPort, and Mini DisplayPort. It also comes with dual-integrated 9-watt speakers, multi-monitor support, and 60 Hz performance. The U3415W’s suggested retail price starts from $1,199 (approx. P53,600).

UltraSharp P2715Q
The UltraSharp P2715Q is the mainstream option in the new line. It is a 27-inch 4K monitor with over eight million pixels and 3840 x 2160 resolution. Color coverage for this monitor 99 percent for sRGB, which means you should get more natural consistent colors displayed on the screen. It has 60 Hz refresh rate and an adjustable panel that you can tilt, pivot, and swivel at various height levels. There are various connectivity options available on this panel as well, including one to let you view content from mobile devices onto the monitor. The P2715Q SRP starts from $699 (approx. P31,300).

UltraSharp U2515H
The UltraSharp U2515H is the entry-level option out of the four new models. It is a 25-inch panel with 16:9 screen and 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution. You can pivot the display 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise, depending on your needs. It is also built to support a multi-monitor setup. Its retail price starts at $479 (approx. P21,450).
