Christmas is always the best time to buy a new smartphone. Coupled with the latest product releases, smartphones enjoy extensive promos from their makers and retailers. For example, Lazada Philippines has just announced the return of their annual Online Revolution.
To celebrate the season of giving (and Lazada’s Online Revolution), Cherry Mobile has announced the launch of three new super-affordable smartphones from the Cube OnRev series: the Cube OnRev, the Cube OnRev Astro, and the Cube OnRev Max. Additionally, the local smartphone makers are also slashing the prices of their Play lineup: the Cube Play and Cube Play HD.
Cube OnRev Astro
The OnRev series is highlighted by its most affordable entry, the OnRev Astro. Tagged at only Php999 (from November 9 to 11), the OnRev Astro comes with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. The 4-inch smartphone operates on Android Marshmallow, up to 32GB of internal storage expansion, 5MP/2MP shooters, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Cube OnRev
The midrange Cube OnRev boasts a 5-inch display, 5MP/2MP shooters, and Android Marshmallow. The bigger smartphone retails for P2,299 from November 9 to 11, 2017.
Cube OnRev Max
The series’ biggest addition is the 6-inch OnRev Max. Unlike its Marshmallow counterparts, the OnRev Max rocks Android Nougat. The Max is also equipped with a larger 13MP/8MP camera combination. It comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 64GB via microSD. Finally, it comes with a fingerprint sensor for added security. From November 9 to 11, it retails for P2,999.
Cube Play, Cube Play HD
Besides the OnRev series, Cherry Mobile is also adding the Cube Play and Cube Play HD. From their original SRP of P1,999, the Cube Play will retail for only P1,499. Meanwhile, the Cube Play HD will retails for only P2,499 (from its original P2,999). This special promo lasts from only November 9 to 11.
