TCL and Roku make official the fruits of its collaboration a Roku 4 box built right into a 4K TV. These new Roku TVs will support 4K streaming, meaning 4K apps found on the Roku 4 box will be included (such as Netflix, Amazon Video, YouTube, etc.).

There will be two series of these Roku 4K TVs, the US5800and UP130. The latter is the more higher-end model. The UP130 will integrade the same kind of remote the Roku 4 has, which means it gets things like voice search, a headphone jack, and a remote finder function. The US5800 will ship with the standard Roku TV remote.

Roku hasn’t exactly made its presence felt here in the country, so maybe this will be a start? These TVs are expected though to ship in spring of 2016. No official word yet on pricing but a TCL rep told CNET that the 55-inch model of the US5800 series should be less than US$600 in retail, making it around P22,000 or less here. Sign us up, TCL.
