As the Coronavirus cases continue to rise in the country, Auto Nation Group, the exclusive distributor of premium automotive brands Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram in the Philippines donates COVID-19 rapid test kits to select local governments in Metro Manila.
To help flatten the curve, Auto Nation Group has adjusted its service processes and operations to align with the recommended safety protocols. The company has applied serious measures to safeguard the health and welfare of its employees, clients, and communities since the implementation of Enhanced Community Quarantine in Luzon last March 2020. In addition, the company has conducted Covid-19 anti-body rapid test to all its returning employees when it resumed operation last May 18, 2020.
Auto Nation Group has partnered with Project ARK, a movement of private companies spearheaded by the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (PCE) with the leadership of Presidential Advisor for Entrepreneurship Mr. Joey Concepcion. This is an initiative of private companies and corporations to purchase rapid test kits for donation to barangays, municipalities, and cities of their choice or where they belong.
On June 23, 2020, Auto Nation Group’s Chief Operating Officer Mr. Francis Jonathan Ang, along with Project ARK representatives Go Negosyo Deputy Executive Director Mr. Aeron Morado and Go Negosyo Finance and Admin Head Sophia Ramos did a handover of anti-body rapid test kits to the local government of San Juan. The test kits have been received by the Mayor of San Juan, honourable Francis Zamora at his office in San Juan City Hall.
In a statement, Francis Jonathan Ang of Auto Nation Group said, “we have partnered with the Project ARK and we are thankful to this initiative of Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship. Through this program, we are able to extend help to communities and the most vulnerable among us.”
“We are pleased to donate Innovita 2019-nCoV Ab Test COVID 19 rapid test kits to San Juan. We aim to help the city boost its capacity to determine the extent and curb the spread of the virus. We believe that this small act of kindness could go a long way, and we hope the provision of these test kits will be instrumental to many lives”, Francis Jonathan Ang added.
The brands of Auto Nation Group have adapted to the new normal of doing business as well. Last month, Mercedes-Benz PH launched the Mercedes-Benz AI: Adapt x Innovate. This program aims to provide customers with a pandemic-proof environment on their next visit to any Mercedes-Benz facilities. This include thorough sanitation of common areas, strict adherence to physical distancing, wearing of personal protective equipment of employees on duty, installation of hand washing areas and safety reminders. Mercedes-Benz also reinforces the use of technology to provide its customers ease and comfort in doing business. It has strengthened its online presence and capabilities to bring a safer, more convenient, and more contactless customer experience.
Likewise, Jeep Philippines enforces strict sanitation and disinfection measures in its showrooms and service centers for the safety of the public. All vehicles that go in and out of the facilities are required to undergo disinfection following the Jeep Clean-Touch System. All its personnel strictly adhere to proper hygiene practices and are equipped with face mask and face shield while in the workplace. To minimize physical contact, Jeep makes brochures and other documents available online and may be sent to interested customers directly and digitally.Auto Nation Group and its affiliated brands are doing all these efforts to help the fight against the pandemic, and to stay true to its commitment to bring unparalleled experience to its customers.
