ASUS launches new X407 and X507 laptops

The new laptops from ASUS Philippines are lightweight, portable machines that can take a lot of the work you through at it.
The X407 and X507, which were announced at the company’s ASUS 360 showcase held in SM Megamall Fashion Hall, are powered by up to a 7th-generation Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce MX110 discrete graphics, dual-storage design with 1TB HDD that can be paired with an M.2 SSD. Both laptops come with a super thin NanoEdge display with slim bezels to make watching your favorite shows and movies even more enjoyable and if you want to share the screen with someone, its easier for both of you to see with a 178° wide-viewing angle.
Carrying around either the 15.6-inch X507 or the 14-inch X407 isn’t going to be too much of a hassle as the former has a thin 21.9mm profile and weighs just around 1.68kg, while the latter comes in at 1.42kg.

When it comes to security both come equipped with a fingerprint sensor and support for Windows Hello. The machines also support Cortana, if having the voice assistant is important to you. When it comes to connectivity options, the X507 comes witj a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A port, two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, and a microSD card reader, as well as 2×2 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2.
Fast charging is built into both devices with a promise of reaching 60 percent in only 49 minutes. ASUS claims its SuperBattery technology ensures three time longer battery lifespan compared to traditional laptop batteries.
If you use ASUS programs to get more out of the machine’s audio and video capabilities, ASUS has Tru2Life Video, Splendid, and SonicMaster-enhanced audio built into the device.
The ASUS X407 and X507 will be available in the Philippines by third week of March and the price starts at P27,995 and is going to be exclusively sold in Lazada Philippines until it will be available nationwide to all ASUS authorized dealers and resellers by April 2018.
