Apple unveils prices for Apple Watch, goes as high as $17,000

Apple’s first foray into the smartwatch market is now official. The Cupertino-based tech giant unveiled the Apple Watch line on Monday. It’ll be available starting April 24 in the US, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, and the UK. Prices start at US$349 and goes as high as $17,000. The Apple Watch will even be sold at chic boutiques in Paris, London, and Tokyo.

The different models include the Apple Watch Sport, which is the $349 model; the standard version of the Apple Watch starts at $549; and the highend Edition models will be priced from $10,000 up. It’ll be available in 38mm and 42mm sizes per collection.

The most expensive Apple Watch modesl are the $17,000 versions. It will be available as 38mm models with an 18-karat yellow gold case and bright red modern buckle or an 18-karat rose gold case with rose gray modern buckle.
