The Adobe MAX conference is the company shows off some of its biggest ideas as well as its latest features and products. This year, Adobe not only announced a slew of updates that will soon be coming to their products, they also made some big announcements on new features and products that will either be coming soon to their products or are already in development by the company. We’ve rounded off some of the company’s biggest new announcements for you to give you an idea of what to expect from the world’s leading design and creative platform developer.

Adobe Stock

One of the smaller but more exciting updates that Adobe announced at MAX is the full integration of Adobe Stock to all the Creative Cloud platforms. With the new integration it will now be significantly easier to search, browse, and use content from Adobe Stock. They’ve also added an incredibly powerful visual search and will soon add Reuters’s archive of over 12 million images into the Adobe Stock library as the companies enter a new partnership.

Adobe Sensei

Adobe Sensei is the company’s first true A.I. initiative that combines artificial intelligence with the power of machine intelligence and deep learning. Adobe envisions Sensei to help designers work easier by doing smaller and easier tasks for you such as selecting objects with similar traits, figuring out what to fill content with, and even recommend tools to use for specific situations. Adobe also wants Sensei to be able to constantly learn from your actions to improve how you work with it further.

Adobe XD

Adobe XD is the company’s new in-development platform that combines the capabilities of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and turns it into a modular, collaborative, device-focused platform for design work such as designing apps. With XD, you’ll be able to see all of your work on a single page allowing you to apply elements to all of them at the same time. You’ll also be able to preview your work on different devices and platforms at the same time, in real-time, making the process of design much more efficient.

Project Felix

Project Felix is another new platform Adobe is working on that will make 3D modeling a whole lot easier and simpler for designers. It comes with preset libraries of 3D models and also supports purchasing of more libraries through the newly integrated Adobe Stock. With Project Felix, designers will no longer need to break up models into smaller pieces to modify them and just use the Magic Wand tool instead. The program is also smart enough to automatically account for new elements in the design that are reflective as well as fix the lighting with just one click.

Adobe VoCo

One of the most surprising announcements at the MAX conference is Adobe’s new VoCo technology which it calls “Photoshop for Voice” as it allows you to feed it voice samples for it to study which will then let you create voice tracks using the voices you fed it with, basically allowing you to edit or create speech. The possibilities for VoCo are immense along with its dangers, which is why the company has assured people that it will work to make VoCo safe and unexploitable.
