Design

At first glance, you’ll notice the chassis adopts the same sleek design featuring the unique concentric-circle ZenBook finish with the ASUS logo on the right side. This device is more portable than ever, weighing only 1.14kg with a 13.9 mm-thin profile. I’ve also never been gladder to know that even though it’s thinner, lighter, and incredibly compact, it still includes HDMI, Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, a USB Type-A and a microSD card reader for unrivaled versatility. It also included a USB-A to RJ45 gigabit ethernet adapter and USB-C to audio jack adapter so you don’t need to spend on those extra dongles.

Each Thunderbolt 4 can impressively support up to 40 Gbps data bandwidth and 4K or 8K display output, and it can also support the new USB 4.0 standard for exceptional compatibility.

The ZenBook 13 OLED also features ASUS’ signature ErgoLift design that automatically tilts the keyboard when the laptop is open. This design allows users to type more comfortably and also increases the ventilation space under the chassis for improved heat dissipation. This notebook is available in a Pine Grey that offers a professional and calm appearance.

This ZenBook 13 OLED also sports the ASUS NumberPad 2.0, an LED-illuminated numeric keypad integrated within the touchpad that makes up for the lack of physical numeric keypads in compact laptops. The NumberPad gives users an easier way to enter numbers to quickly perform data entry or calculations. In touchpad mode, the glass covering provides super-smooth and precise fingertip control with multi-touch gesture support.

Display

Now let’s get to the best part — the OLED HDR Display with 100% DCI-P3 Color Gamut. This 13.3-inch OLED HDR display supports 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 0.2 ms response time. The display offers an ultra-wide color gamut of 100% DCI-P3, which is widely used in the motion picture industry, and is PANTONE Validated to provide the most precise color accuracy. It also features a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, which can support up to 400 nits of highlight brightness and 0.0005 nits of deep black brightness, providing creators with a vivid and more detailed viewing experience.

With the extreme contrast and accurate color reproduction at any level, it’s expected that everything should look crisp and vibrant – even within darker content. This helps with eye comfort, too. Users can opt to dial down the brightness, without losing contrast and color vibrancy, resulting in reduced blue-light emission.

On top of the screen is an ultra-thin camera module which has a four-element lens that produces sharper images and results in lower noise. The embedded advanced infrared (IR) camera features see-in-the-dark capabilities that enable fast, reliable hands-free face login with Windows Hello — even in dim environments.

Performance

With thin and light form factors, the ZenBook 13 OLED is equipped with 11th Gen Intel Core processors, and supports up to 32 GB of memory and a 1TB PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD. The new processors revolutionize modern creative workflows with Intel Deep Learning Boost AI acceleration and AV1 media encoding and decoding technology.

The device is also equipped with ASUS WiFi Master technology, which not only has a built-in Intel WiFi 6 wireless network for faster wireless transmission performance, but also adds the ASUS exclusive WiFi SmartConnect. This function provides greater distance, stability, and a seamless wireless network experiences for users.

The ZenBook 13 OLED is equipped with a 67Wh battery which can provide up to 13 hours of battery life — more than enough to cover a day of work or play unplugged. They also offer a fast-charge function, charging from 2% to 60% in just 49 minutes.

The audio system of the new ZenBook 13 OLED has been carefully tuned by experts from the ASUS Golden Ear team and certified by audio specialists Harman Kardon to ensure the very best sound for all kinds of content. The ZenBook 13 is thus able to output louder volumes, richer depth and surround sound effects compared to other laptops of a similar size.
