Despite the fact at summer is over and were already at that time of the year where rain is the constant companion, it still won’t stop fun from happening at the Power Mac Center Spotlight.

Below, we’ve got this year’s events from August all the way to October!
AUGUST 2017
Marking the 2017 to 2018 season of the Manila Symphony Orchestra, world class musical talent will be celebrated starting with a performance by acclaimed Filipino composer Nilo Alcala with his original compositions.
Alongside him will be German-Indonesian guest violinist Iskandar Widjaja who will be performing Spanish composer Edouard Lalo’s ‘Symphonie Espagnole’ (1874).
The concerto won’t only be guested by these two stellar performers. Joining them is the Singaporean conductor Darrell Ang conducting Bohemian composer Antonin Dvorak’s “Symphony No. 8.”
Ticket prices range from Php1400, Php1000, Php900, Php550, and Php350 and are available at all Ticketworld outlets.
The Glitter Trap (August 19 and 20)
Thanks to Repertory Philippines and its partnership with Ayala Land Inc.’s Circuit Makati, select students and PWD children from the barangays of Makati will get the chance to watch a re-run of The Glitter Trap on August 19.
On August 20, the show will be ticketed to help raise funds for he free showing of the children’s musical for the kids of Makati.
SEPTEMBER
Philippine Wrestling Revolution (September 3)
The Philippine Wrestling Revolution is still alive and kicking on its third year in the country and never fails to draw in tons of sports-entertainment fans from all over the nation.
Tickets are now available for pre-selling.
Capcom Pro Tour: Manila Cup (September 8-10)
Keeping the adrenaline up and running, this event will be trialed by a port of the Capcom Pro Tour. With both local and international fighting-game enthusiasts coming together. Starting September 8, the two day event is expected to pull in many local and international competitors thanks to a series of exciting game tournaments.

SEPTEMBER to OCTOBER
Short + Sweet Festival (September 15-17, 22-24, 30, and October 1)
On these days, you’ll be able to witness the fourth season of the World’s Biggest Little Play Festival, ending the month with a sweeter, better and bigger note with the Short + Sweet Theatre Festival Manila.
From across the nation, talented individuals and independent theatre groups will be gracing the stage and anyone who wishes to enjoy the art and culture in this carnival of little plays.
Through the first and second weekends, the creative global phenomenon will showcase 10-minute plays while the best performances will be selected for October 1.
