Beating out its competition, Samsung took the wraps off its first smartphone with a quad rear camera setup. The Galaxy A9 packs in a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and f/2.4 aperture; a 120-degree ultra-wide 8-megapixel lens with f/2.4 aperture; 5-megapixel depth camera for those artificial bokeh shots; and a main 24-megapixel shooter with an f/1.7 lens. The combination of these lenses promise you more flexibility when it comes to taking photos. In front, you get one 24-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Samsung pairs this with a large, notch-less 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1,080 x 2,220 resolution, an octa-core processor (4x 2.2GHz + 4x 1.8GHz), 6GB of RAM, 128GB internal storage (with expansion capabilities of up to 512GB via microSD), Android 8.0 Oreo, and 3,800mAh battery. The colors coming to the country include Caviar Black and Lemonade Blue. It’ll be available starting December 1 and will be available for P32,990.
