HMPH implements software update for select PALISADE Hybrid Units

Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) announces a proactive service action for selected units of the All-New PALISADE Hybrid currently in the local market.

As part of Hyundai’s commitment to customer safety and vehicle quality, authorized Hyundai dealerships nationwide will be conducting a software update for selected PALISADE Hybrid units. This update enhances the operation of the second-row and third-row power seat system by giving users more control of the activation process.

The software update removes the one-touch activation feature of the PALISADE Hybrid’s power seat system and replaces it with a press-and-hold function, which will require deliberate input from passengers to operate the folding and unfolding of the seats. This service procedure aims to improve safety of all passengers. This will be carried out free of charge at all authorized Hyundai dealerships and is expected to take minimal time to complete. 

A total of 123 units of the PALISADE Hybrid are covered under this service action in the Philippines. Selected customers will be individually notified by their respective Hyundai dealerships with instructions on how to schedule their service appointment.

Hyundai Motor Philippines encourages customers to promptly participate in this service action to ensure the continued optimal performance of their vehicles.
