Porsche Club PH celebrates passion for sports cars and watches with TAG Heuer

Porsche Club Philippines (PCP) recently kicked off its first event of the year via an exclusive Breakfast Meet that brought together members’ passion for precision, design and motorsports.

Held at Lucerne’s Watch House in Bonifacio Global City, the gathering featured some of the latest Porsche sports cars and TAG Heuer watches.  

“What better way to start the year than with two things we are truly passionate about — sports cars and timepieces,” PCP Treasurer Edgardo Asuncion said in his welcome remarks to members and guests, who were led by Porsche Philippines President and CEO Roberto Coyiuto III, and Lucerne Group Managing Directors Ivan Yao and Emerson Yao.

The gathering also celebrated the decades-long partnership between Porsche and TAG Heuer that was forged in motorsports. From the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans to the high-tech world of Formula E, the two brands have consistently pushed the boundaries of innovation and performance. 

The appreciation for this bond was evident in the enthusiasm shown by PCP members and guests who admired both the lineup of Porsche models made available for test-drives, and the TAG Heuer timepieces presented at the brand’s boutique.

Serving as an added attraction to the Porsche sports cars driven to the event venue by PCP members were brand-new Porsche models, namely the new all-electric Macan and Taycan, Cayenne E-Hybrid, and Boxster. The lineup clearly demonstrated Porsche offers customers sports cars with the powertrain option that works best for them — electric, hybrid, or combustion.    

At the TAG Heuer boutique, among the watches that drew the attention of attendees were those from the reinterpreted Carrera and Aquaracer collections, as well as the iconic Monaco line. The Formula 1 models were highlighted, too, which is only fitting because TAG Heuer returns to the pinnacle of motorsports as the official timekeeper beginning this year.     

Amid Porsche and TAG Heuer machines, the event provided PCP members and guests another excellent opportunity to enjoy their shared passion.
