212 has boosted its presence in the Philippines with the opening of its flagship showroom in Greenhills, San Juan, alongside the launch of the new P01 pickup truck.
Located on the ground floor of VV Soliven along EDSA-Greenhills in San Juan, Metro Manila, the outlet serves as a showcase for the brand’s lineup of rugged, off-road ready cars. There’s also a selection of 212-branded souvenirs and merchandise, as well as genuine accessories for customers looking to modify their vehicles which 212 encourages you to do.

The opening also marked the launch of the 212 P01, a 4WD pickup that brings together serious off-road capability, modern technology, and premium cabin comfort.

Under the hood of the P01 is a 2.3-liter turbodiesel engine that generates 190 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Its 4WD system comes with front, center, and rear locking diffs, giving drivers greater control when navigating difficult terrain.

The P01 is very much ready for the trails with its 254 mm of ground clearance, together with a 42-degree approach angle and a 26-degree departure angle. These figures emphasize the P01’s off-road capabilities, allowing it to tackle steep slopes and uneven surfaces with greater confidence. Add to that its payload capacity of 620 kg.

Open the doors and the P01 offers a well-equipped and premium cabin that balances rugged utility with modern comforts. Among its amenities are a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, automatic climate control with rear air vent, a wireless charger, USB Type-C charging ports, and a sunroof. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster provides essential driving information, while a 12.3-inch touchscreen serves as the highlight of the dashboard. There’s an 8-speaker audio system rounds out the entertainment features, while Standard, Eco, and Sport driving modes allow drivers to adjust the vehicle’s performance characteristics according to their needs.

Safety is also given attention here. The P01 comes equipped with front and side airbags, Electronic Stability Control, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and a 360-degree camera system that provides a clearer view of the vehicle’s surroundings. Additional features include front and rear parking sensors, an electronic parking brake with Auto Hold, Hill Start Assist, and Hill Descent Control, making the pickup more manageable in various driving situations.
The 212 P01 is priced at PHP 2,888,000. As part of its introductory offer, the company is extending a PHP 50,000 discount during the model’s first month on the market. 212 also used the occasion to preview another model destined for the Philippine market: the Mavero, a three-door 4×4 SUV. Only a single image was shown with no tidbits of feature information.

The opening of its flagship showroom, coupled with the introduction of the P01 and the preview of the Mavero, marks another step in 212’s expansion in the Philippines as it seeks to appeal to buyers looking for capable and distinctively styled off-road vehicles.
