To the prospective home buyer, the Philippine real estate market is plagued by two loathsome traits: smooth-talking salespeople who shove their pamphlets in your face and fluffed-up models that don’t show their rooms in real situations. And it certainly doesn’t help that “CONDOS W/ NO DOWNPAYMENT” is a favorite among spam texters. For an industry that’s supposed to be demand, it suffers from a lot of problems.
ZipMatch, the country’s premier online real estate matching experts, is officially bringing the real estate market into the 21st century with the launch of its new ZipMatch 360 Virtual Reality service. The high-tech innovation is the first of its kind in the ASEAN region. It will allow real estate professionals, developers, and home sellers to conduct a proper viewing of their property without the need for a physical trip.
Buying a new home is a big decision that shouldn’t be taken lightly. That’s why home buyers would often include a physical visit to their home of choice before purchase. If the location hasn’t been developed yet, real estate sellers display scale models of their property for the prospective buyer’s perusal. Naturally, buyers are going to run into some problems: hellish traffic, fluffed-up marketing set pieces, a room with nothing in it.
The ZipMatch 360 Virtual Reality service uses the latest virtual reality technology to help buyers visualize their new homes. For a more immersive experience, brokers are given VR headgear that will transform the content into a 360o virtual experience.
Home buyers have free access to the ZipMatch Pro app that was soft-launched last year on Android. The app will allow subscribers to access feature projects on their smartphones.
Sellers and brokers, however, can also avail of the ZipMatch Pro 360 Virtual Reality subscription which will allow them to save their projects into their smartphones for offline use.The package will also come with a complimentary pair of the VR headgear necessary to display the VR content properly.
The service currently has 300+ projects featured on the app. Around 30 are already in high definition. ZipMatch aims to grow that database with projects from the Visayas and Mindanao region in the near future. ZipMatch is also developing an iOS release to be released in the coming weeks. The company is also developing a mobile app for their customer relationship management tool (ZipMatch CRM) that will help sellers guide their customers through the home buying process.
The service is the first of its kind in the Southeast Asian regions. Its clients include Ayala Land Premier, Amaia Land, Anchor Land, and Crown Asia.
