If you’ve been taking quick peeks at the smartphone market in the Philippines, then you’ve probably heard of Xiaomi, the new smartphone on the block straight from the shores of China. If you’ve heard of Xiaomi, then you probably know that getting your hands on one isn’t easy. The brand does not have any physical distributor, your best chance of getting a phone is through online stores. Even then, you have to wait for when it becomes available again since availability is restricted to batches determined by the company.
To celebrate its first Christmas in the Philippines, Xiaomi is bringing back the highly popular Mi 3 smartphone and the affordable Redmi 1S through online store, Lazada. These two phones will go on sale starting 12 noon on the 12th of December.
Additionally, Xiaomi and Lazada will hold online contests to give away even hotter Mi phones: the Mi 4, the Redmi Note 4G, and the Mi In-Ear Headphones in silver and a limited edition pink with Swarovski crystals.
